Sexual harassment is an offense under section 345 of the Penal Code (Amendment) Act, No. 22 of 1995. Further, sexual harassment undermines the work place environment and takes a toll on productivity. Organisation-wide awareness and training to prevent sexual harassment are essential for promoting a harmonious workplace culture. The Centre for Women’s Research (CENWOR) offers a training course designed to meet the needs of organisations to develop anti-harassment policies, and provide the knowledge to recognise sexual harassment, and take preventive action.
Duration: Four (4), three hour sessions on Saturdays (total 12 hours).
Medium of Instruction: English
Training Methodology: Lectures & interactive sessions. Training material will be provided.
Participants are welcome to use the CENWOR Information Resource Centre.
